Mt. Turnbull Elementary Harvest Festival 2023
Thank you to all who contributed to the huge success of our Harvest Festival. We had more people who attended the event and more people who put up booths. Chairman Rambler and Vice Chairman Etpison gave out candy. Bylas Councilman Kitcheyan was at his booth shooting basketballs with our students. Dr. Martinez and Dr. Murphy from the Bylas Clinic, along with their staff, had fun throwing footballs at a target. Superintendent Hawkins had a booth too. Two former teachers returned to participate in our event, and they were Mr. Lemley and Mrs. Casey. Mr. Lemley had a booth Mrs. Casey set up a bouncy castle for the students to enjoy. Mrs. Purdin from the high school shared her talent with all by putting up a face painting booth. The San Carlos Police Department was also present with a booth. Our former student Cory Cody, the reigning Miss Fort Thomas had a good time at her ring toss game. There were other people from the community of Bylas and Fort Thomas providing additional games for the children. Among our guests were Sheriff Allred and our school board member, Pastor Poncho. Our classified staff did a wonderful job advertising the event and organizing it. Thank you again to all who participated.
